Architectural inspections are crucial for assessing a property's condition. The inspection includes a check for water seepage in ceilings, structural cracks or hollow tiles in walls and flooring, and defects in built-in furnishings.

 

Water damage weakens the ceiling and leads to mold growth. Structural cracks or hollow tiles indicate a compromised building structure.

 

Checking furnishings for defects helps identify broken hardware, loose fittings, or warped panels. Identifying potential issues early on helps protect the investment and ensures the property remains safe and functional.

Electrical
Inspection

CIRCUIT BREAKERS: the circuit breakers is inspected to determine whether the wiring is correctly installed to prevent frequent tripping. We will ensure that the terminal connections are secure, and there is no damage to the circuit breakers.

WIRING: The inspection also involves checking the wiring to ensure that the outlets are correctly grounded, and the wires are well-insulated. Proper grounding helps protect against electrical shocks and ensures that electrical appliances function correctly. Insulated wires prevent electrical hazards, such as short circuits or fires, caused by exposed wires.

AIR-CONDITIONING: In addition to the above checks, the inspection includes an assessment of the air-conditioning system, including the compressor unit. The electrician will check for any issues with the compressor unit, such as overheating or malfunctioning, which could lead to power surges or other electrical hazards.

Plumbing Inspection

HDB Rectification Work for New Flats

In line with industry practice, all newly completed HDB flats are covered by a 1-year Defects Liability Period (DLP) effective from the date of key collection. During this time, we will follow up on items in the flat that require rectification.

​

It is important that you report the items within 1 month of key collection and before your renovation works begin. This will save the need to investigate whether the defects were inherent from HDB’s construction or caused by renovation works.

​

We usually take less than 2 weeks to complete the repair. In a situation where your renovation cannot wait, HDB can rectify the defects during the renovation (if it does not hinder your renovation) or after. Some minor defects can also be rectified after you have moved in (if living condition will not be affected).
